Retreats & Personal Development in Mallorca

Helping people and teams step back, think clearly and move forward with purpose.

Some things simply can’t be worked out at a desk.

Not because the thinking isn’t there, but because the conditions aren’t. The noise of everyday life, the weight of responsibility and the constant pull of the next task can leave little room for the kind of slower, deeper thinking that real clarity requires.

Changing the environment changes the conversation.

A retreat, away day or bespoke experience creates space to step back, breathe, listen differently and see what has been hidden in plain sight. They are perfect for leaders needing perspective, teams wanting more honest conversation, coaches seeking renewal, or individuals longing to reconnect.

Whoever you are, the right setting can unlock a very different quality of thought.

My work combines professional coaching, meaningful facilitation and the restorative power of Nature. Each experience is designed with care around the people, questions and transitions involved. Some are private and highly personalised. Others bring together small groups around a shared purpose. All are created to help people slow down, think clearly and return with renewed energy, perspective and direction.

Having lived in Mallorca for many years, I know the island intimately. Beyond its famous coastline lies another Mallorca: quiet mountains, ancient forests, timeless villages and extraordinary landscapes that invite reflection rather than distraction.

Mallorca is an exceptional setting for personal growth, leadership development and genuine reconnection.

How my approach shapes this work

My approach to retreats and bespoke experiences is shaped by a simple belief: sometimes the biggest breakthroughs happen when we create enough space for them to emerge.

Away from the pace, noise and constant demands of everyday life, it becomes easier to hear yourself think, reconnect with what matters and see familiar challenges from a different perspective.

Drawing on professional coaching, behavioural science, regenerative thinking, nature-based practice and experiential learning, I design experiences that are both deeply reflective and grounded in action. We might walk through the Tramuntana Mountains, spend time beside the sea, sit quietly in Nature, share food around a table or simply allow ourselves longer, richer conversations than everyday life usually permits.

This is not about escaping your life or work. It is about returning to it with greater clarity, renewed energy and a stronger sense of direction.

Every experience is carefully designed around the people taking part and the questions that matter most. We begin by listening deeply: to what you need, what feels possible, and what kind of space might help something new emerge. From there, we co-create something personal, thoughtful and meaningful for you and those around you — an experience with enough structure to feel held, and enough openness for fresh insight, connection and possibility to unfold.

This is the same philosophy that underpins all of my work. It is simply expressed here through retreats and bespoke experiences.

Bespoke retreats

The most powerful experiences are often the ones designed around a real need.

You may already know exactly what you are looking for: a leadership away day, a team retreat, a private executive reset, a walking experience, a coaching circle or a few days of deep reflection in Nature.

Or you may simply know that something needs to shift.

Together, we can design an experience around your situation, your people and the conversations that matter most. Some of the retreats below can be adapted. Others may inspire something completely new.

A bespoke experience might help you:

  • Step back from complexity and regain clarity.
  • Bring a team together for more honest conversation.
  • Explore purpose, direction or transition.
  • Rebuild trust, connection or alignment.
  • Support leaders through change.
  • Create space for renewal, reflection and fresh thinking.
  • Connect more deeply with Nature, place and each other.

The format can be as simple or as immersive as needed: a half-day session, a one-day leadership away day, a weekend retreat, a multi-day experience or a longer journey.

Retreats for organisations and leaders

These experiences are designed for organisations, leadership teams, founders, executives and senior leaders who need space away from the usual working environment to think, reconnect and make better decisions.

Team retreats & leadership away days

Sometimes the most important conversations happen away from the meeting room.

Designed for leadership teams, organisations, boards and senior groups, these facilitated experiences create the conditions for honest dialogue, strategic thinking, stronger relationships and renewed alignment.

They can be held in Mallorca or at a location of your choice. Each experience is shaped around your team’s specific situation, challenges and objectives, whether you need one focused day or a deeper multi-day retreat.

One-to-One Executive Retreat

Example retreat accommodation

A private, fully personalised retreat for leaders, executives and changemakers who need to slow down, regain perspective and reconnect with what matters most.

Held in a peaceful private cottage in the UNESCO-listed Tramuntana Mountains, this is an immersive extension of one-to-one coaching for those wanting to think more deeply about leadership, purpose, transition or the next chapter of their work.

This retreat is shaped entirely around you: your situation, your questions and the pace you need. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is imposed.

Retreats for individuals

These retreats are for people who want to pause, breathe, reconnect and create space for something new to emerge. You don’t need to be in a formal leadership role. You simply need to feel ready for a different kind of experience.

The Reconnection Gathering

Paul running an outdoor group session

A small-group retreat in the mountain village of Galilea, created for people who want to slow down, reconnect and return to what feels most alive.

Held in the UNESCO-listed Tramuntana Mountains, this gathering combines nature connection, coaching, reflection, shared meals, village life and meaningful conversation. It is designed for anyone feeling overstretched, in transition, or simply ready for a deeper pause.

Intimate, grounded and welcoming, The Reconnection Gathering offers space to breathe, listen and rediscover your connection with yourself, others and the natural world.

The Explorer’s Journey

paul hiking

A six-night guided hiking and coaching adventure through Mallorca’s spectacular Tramuntana Mountains.

Walking sections of the GR221, this small-group experience combines hiking, coaching, nature connection, reflection and shared adventure. Staying in traditional mountain refuges, you’ll discover a quieter side of Mallorca while reconnecting with yourself, others and the natural world.

This is for people who want something simple, active, spacious and memorable: a journey through the mountains, and perhaps also a journey back to themselves.

Retreats for coaches

These experiences are for people who are training as coaches, newly qualified coaches, or building a coaching practice they want to feel proud of.

They are practical, honest and community-focused: a space to explore how to coach well, how to build a thriving practice, and how to stay connected to yourself, others and the natural world while doing meaningful work.

The Coaches’ Gathering

The mountain village of Galilea seen from the distance

The retreat we wish had existed when we started coaching.

A three-night retreat in the mountain village of Galilea for coaches who want to feel clearer, more confident and less alone in their work.

The Coaches’ Gathering is a small, friendly and energising experience for coaches who want to explore the real behind-the-scenes questions of becoming and being a coach.

How do I find clients? Do I need a niche? How should I price my work? What makes my coaching different in an age of AI? How do I build a practice that feels human, purposeful and regenerative? And how can coaching contribute to something bigger than individual success?

Held in the Tramuntana Mountains of Mallorca, this gathering combines practical mentoring, coaching conversations, nature-based coaching, shared meals, walks, time around the fire and the simple pleasure of being with people who understand the path you are on.

It is part mentoring retreat, part coaching circle, part community gathering and part campfire conversation.

You leave with practical ideas, renewed energy, new professional friendships and a clearer sense of the coach — and coaching practice — you want to grow.

Is one of these journeys right for you?

The right time to step away is often when life feels too full to imagine doing so.

Perhaps you are facing an important decision, navigating change, leading others through uncertainty, feeling overstretched or sensing that you have been moving too fast for too long.

Creating space is not stepping away from your responsibilities. It is often the most responsible thing you can do.

If you are unsure which experience would be the best fit, I would be delighted to have an informal conversation.

Together we can explore where you are, what you need and whether one of these experiences feels like the right next step.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why choose me for a retreat or personal development journey?

I bring together professional coaching, facilitation, leadership experience, hospitality, nature-based practice and a deep knowledge of Mallorca. That combination matters. A meaningful retreat is not simply about finding a beautiful place; it is about designing the right conditions for reflection, trust, conversation and change.

My background in high-end hospitality taught me how to create experiences where people feel welcomed, safe and genuinely cared for. My work in diplomacy and leadership taught me how to hold complexity, different perspectives and important conversations. My coaching and facilitation practice helps turn those moments into learning, insight and practical next steps.

Most of all, I care deeply about creating experiences that feel human, thoughtful and memorable — experiences that help people return not just rested, but clearer, more connected and more alive.

Do I need to choose one of the journeys listed above?

No. The experiences above are starting points, not fixed boxes.

Many can be adapted, combined or redesigned around your needs. We can also create something entirely new.

Who are these experiences for?

They are for leaders, organisations, teams, coaches and individuals who need space to think, reconnect and move forward with greater clarity.

Some experiences are professional and leadership-focused. Others are more personal, reflective or restorative.

Why is Mallorca a good place for retreats?

Mallorca offers more than beautiful scenery. Beyond the busy coastline, the island has mountains, forests, villages and quiet spaces that naturally support reflection and deeper conversation.

Having lived here for many years, I know places that help people slow down, feel safe and see things differently.

Can you run experiences outside Mallorca?

Yes. Mallorca is my home and a powerful setting for this work, but retreats, away days and bespoke experiences can also be created elsewhere.

The most important thing is choosing a setting that supports the purpose of the experience.

How long are the experiences?

They can range from a half-day session or one-day leadership away day to a weekend retreat, a five-day private retreat or a longer immersive journey.

The length depends on what you want to explore and the depth of work required.

What happens in an Exploration Session?

It is a simple, no-pressure conversation.

We talk through where you are, what you are hoping for and whether a retreat or bespoke experience might be useful. If it feels right, we can then begin shaping something together.
