Regenerative Coaching
Helping people create the conditions where they, others and the living world can flourish.
There comes a point when success is no longer the whole story.
There comes a point when success is no longer the whole story.
You may have built a successful career, led teams, grown a business or achieved goals that once felt almost impossible. From the outside, life may look successful. Yet quietly, another question begins to emerge.
Is there another way to live, work and lead? Not because you lack ambition. If anything, the opposite is often true.
The people I work with usually care deeply. They want to lead well, support the people around them, make good decisions and contribute positively to the world. Yet many also recognise something:
the way we have learnt to work and lead is becoming increasingly difficult to sustain.
The pace keeps accelerating. The decisions become more complex. The expectations keep growing. And somewhere along the way, many of us become disconnected: from ourselves, from one another, from Nature, and from the sense of purpose that first inspired us.
Regenerative coaching begins with the belief that another way is possible.
Not simply working more efficiently. Not simply becoming more resilient. But learning to create the conditions where life can flourish again.
The work often begins with a simple question:
What wants to come alive now?
How a regenerative philosophy shapes my work

Regenerative coaching is one expression of the wider philosophy that underpins all of my work.
Over many years, my practice has brought together professional coaching, behavioural science, systems thinking, Nature-based practice, outdoor facilitation and regenerative leadership. These are no longer separate disciplines that I apply one after another. They have become a single way of seeing people, organisations and change.
This work has been shaped by forward-thinking practitioners and thinkers I have learnt from, worked with or worked alongside, including Laura Storm, Daniel Christian Wahl, Otto Scharmer, James Farrell, Diana Tedoldi, Natalia Meroño and the wider regenerative movement. It is also informed by my practical work with a Regenerative Foundation, where regeneration is explored through landscapes, communities and organisations.
But this is not simply theory. It is practical, personal and alive.
Rather than seeing a person in isolation, regenerative coaching invites us to look at the wider ecosystem around them: relationships, work, habits, environment, community, health, leadership, values and purpose.
Often, when we begin to see the whole system, new possibilities become visible.
This is the same philosophy that underpins all of my work. It is simply expressed here through the lens of regenerative coaching.
A different kind of coaching conversation
Traditional coaching often begins with goals.
Regenerative coaching begins with life.
Of course, goals matter. Performance matters. Results matter. But they are not the whole story.
Regenerative coaching asks different questions.
What gives you energy? Where is life flowing? Where is it being drained? What relationships need attention? What future is quietly trying to emerge?
The conversation changes.
Success is no longer measured only by achievement. It also becomes about vitality, connection, contribution and stewardship.
These are not abstract ideas. They influence how we lead meetings, make decisions, build cultures, manage our energy, relate to the people around us and choose how we spend the precious time we have.

Why Regenerative Coaching?

For years, we have spoken about sustainability: doing less harm, reducing impact, keeping things going.
Those are important aspirations.
But increasingly, I find myself asking whether simply sustaining is enough.
Not for our organisations. Not for our communities. Not for the planet. And certainly not for ourselves.
Many people today are surviving rather than flourishing. Burnout has become common. Relationships become transactional. Creativity diminishes. Purpose becomes blurred beneath endless activity.
Regenerative coaching offers another possibility.
Imagine continually drawing water from a spring without allowing it time to replenish. Eventually, the spring runs dry. Many of us live and lead in much the same way: giving our energy, attention and creativity without creating the conditions for renewal.
Regenerative coaching is about learning how to replenish the spring.
This connects with the idea of dynamic equilibrium: a sense of stability within an ever-changing environment. Healthy living systems are never static. They adapt, recover, grow, rest and respond. The aim is not perfect balance. Life is too dynamic for that. The aim is to live and lead in ways that continually renew ourselves and the systems we are part of.
This work also invites longer-term thinking. Instead of asking only, “What do I need to deliver this week?”, we begin asking, “What kind of future is this decision helping to create?”
For ourselves. For the people we lead. For our communities. For future generations. And for the living world we all depend upon.
The principles that shape my work
Over time, a handful of principles have become central to the way I practise regenerative coaching. They have emerged through coaching conversations, leadership experience, time in Nature, regenerative learning, community work and my own ongoing attempts to live this work imperfectly but sincerely.
They are not a rigid model or a step-by-step method.
They are the questions and orientations I return to again and again.
See the whole
We rarely exist in isolation. Our decisions influence families, colleagues, organisations, communities and places, while those same systems influence us in return. Often, the next step becomes clearer once the wider ecosystem comes into view.
Put life at the centre
Rather than beginning only with what needs fixing, I find it more powerful to ask: where do you come alive? What gives you energy? What feels meaningful? What has quietly become depleted?
Slow down to see clearly
In a world that rewards speed, some of our most important insights arrive when we pause. Slowing down is not about doing less. It is about seeing more clearly before deciding what comes next.
Learn from Nature
Nature is not simply a beautiful setting for my work. It is one of my greatest teachers. Healthy ecosystems remind us that resilience comes through diversity, growth happens in seasons and renewal is essential for long-term vitality.
Listen with the whole self
Insight does not come from thinking alone. The body, emotions, sensations and intuition often notice what the mind has not yet understood. Sometimes the answers we are searching for are already present; we simply need enough space to hear them.
Create positive ripples
Every conversation, decision and action creates ripples. One of the questions I often invite clients to consider is not simply, “What is the right decision for me?” but “What kind of future does this decision help create?”
What a typical engagement looks like
Every journey begins with a complimentary Exploration Session. This is an opportunity for us to meet, understand where you are, explore what you are hoping for and decide together whether regenerative coaching feels like the right next step.
If we choose to work together, a typical engagement usually lasts between six and twelve sessions, although every journey is different. Some people arrive with an immediate leadership challenge. Others are navigating a significant life transition. Some simply know that something needs to change, even if they cannot yet put it into words.
Sessions may take place online, in person or through a combination of both. Where appropriate, we may also work outdoors. Walking through the Tramuntana Mountains, sitting quietly beneath ancient olive trees or simply slowing the pace can create a different quality of thinking.
Between sessions, I may suggest reflective practices, behavioural experiments or observations that allow the work to continue naturally between our conversations.
Because real change rarely happens only within the session itself.
It grows through how we begin to live differently afterwards.

What we work on
Every regenerative coaching journey is different because every person arrives with different questions. The work may include:
- Reconnecting with your purpose, values and strengths.
- Understanding what gives you energy and what quietly depletes it.
- Navigating complexity, transition or uncertainty.
- Making significant leadership, career or life decisions.
- Seeing the wider ecosystem of relationships, responsibilities and environments around you.
- Developing healthier rhythms of work, rest and renewal.
- Strengthening your connection with yourself, others and Nature.
- Exploring what may be seeking to emerge.
- Creating practical experiments that help new ways of living and leading take root.
- Considering the longer-term impact of your choices.
Depending on what is useful, our work may include walking coaching, ecosystem mapping, reflective journalling, behavioural experiments, Nature-based practices, breathing and simple ecosomatic awareness, alongside thoughtful conversation and professional coaching.
None of these are used because they are fashionable.
They are simply different ways of helping you see more clearly, think more deeply and move forward with greater confidence.
Who Regenerative Coaching is for

Regenerative coaching may be for you if you are:
- Successful by many external measures, but sensing that something needs to change.
- Leading others and wanting to do so in a more human, purposeful and life-giving way.
- Feeling depleted, disconnected or tired of simply pushing harder.
- Navigating transition, uncertainty or a significant decision.
- Curious about how your work can create more positive impact.
- Interested in Nature, systems thinking, regenerative leadership or deeper personal renewal.
- Seeking a way of living and working that feels more aligned, meaningful and sustainable.
You do not need to arrive with the right words.
Curiosity is enough.
Why work with me?
This work brings together many strands of my own journey.
I am a professionally qualified executive coach, mentor and coaching supervisor. I have studied behavioural change at University College London, worked in diplomacy and hospitality, led teams in complex environments and spent many years coaching leaders, professionals and people at important moments of transition.
My understanding of regenerative coaching has also been shaped by my year-long Regenerative Leadership Journey with Laura Storm, my work with the Mallorca Preservation Foundation, and by learning from and alongside thinkers and practitioners including Daniel Christian Wahl, Otto Scharmer, James Farrell, Diana Tedoldi, Natalia Meroño and the wider regenerative movement.
This is not a finished methodology.
It is a living practice.
It continues to evolve through my work with clients, my own learning, the communities I am part of and the landscapes that continue to teach me.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is regenerative coaching?
Regenerative coaching helps people reconnect with what matters most and create the conditions for greater vitality in themselves, their relationships, their organisations and the wider world. It combines professional coaching with systems thinking, behavioural science, Nature-based practice and regenerative leadership.
How is regenerative coaching different from executive coaching?
Executive coaching often focuses on leadership performance, confidence and decision-making. Regenerative coaching includes these elements while widening the perspective. We explore not only your goals, but also your relationships, wellbeing, environment, values, community and the wider systems you influence.
Do I need to be interested in Nature?
No. Nature is one of my greatest teachers, but you do not need to describe yourself as outdoorsy to benefit from this work. Some sessions happen outside; many do not. What matters is creating enough space to think differently and reconnect with what matters most.
Is regenerative coaching practical?
Yes. While the conversations may be reflective, they are always grounded in the realities of your life and work. Together we explore practical decisions, behaviours and experiments that help new ways of living and leading become part of everyday life.
Who is regenerative coaching for?
This work is particularly relevant for leaders, founders, professionals and changemakers who want to create meaningful success without becoming depleted in the process. It is for people who sense that the future requires new ways of thinking, leading and living.
Can this approach support organisations as well as individuals?
Yes. Many of the principles explored in one-to-one coaching naturally extend into leadership teams, organisational development, facilitation and bespoke retreats. Increasingly, I support organisations that want to build healthier cultures, strengthen relationships and explore more regenerative ways of working.
