Leadership & Executive Coaching
Helping leaders create the conditions where people, teams and organisations can thrive.
Leadership can be a lonely place. Not always. But often enough that it matters.
The higher the responsibility, the fewer the people you can think out loud with. Decisions land on your desk that don’t come with obvious answers. The pressure to project confidence can make it hard to admit uncertainty, even to yourself.
That’s where leadership coaching tends to be most useful. Not as a fix, but as a space. A regular, structured conversation with someone who sits entirely outside your organisation.
A place where you can think clearly and speak honestly, without the noise of the role getting in the way.
That independence matters. It means no agenda, no internal politics, and a genuinely safe place to say what you can’t always say elsewhere.
I work with leaders across a wide range of contexts: business owners, executives, managers in their first senior role, leaders in public sector organisations, charities, and sport. What they share isn’t a job title.
It’s the experience of carrying responsibility for others and wanting to do that well.
A different kind of coaching conversation

People often see executive coaching as focused on performance. On doing more, deciding faster, leading better.
My approach starts from a different place. It’s shaped by a regenerative philosophy [link to philosophy page], it draws on my studies of behavioural change, and it brings a respect for the kind of thinking that only happens when the pressure eases slightly. Rather than pushing for quicker answers, I create the conditions where clearer ones tend to emerge.
I came to coaching after a career that took me through high-end hospitality management and leadership roles in international diplomacy. I know what it feels like to carry responsibility in high-stakes environments, to manage upwards and downwards at the same time, and to have to make decisions without the luxury of certainty. That experience shapes how I work with the leaders I coach.
What we work on
Leadership coaching with me tends to cover a wide range of territory, shaped by what you bring to each session. Common themes include:
- Thinking through significant decisions with more clarity and less noise
- Building confidence in a new or expanded leadership role
- Managing the pressures and isolation that often come with seniority
- Navigating complex team dynamics or organisational change
- Reconnecting with a sense of purpose and direction when things feel stuck
- Developing a leadership style that feels genuinely yours, rather than borrowed
This isn’t a prescriptive programme. It’s a process that moves at the pace your situation requires.

What a typical engagement looks like

We start with a free Exploration Session. This is an informal conversation, not a sales call. Its purpose is to understand what you’re working with, and to give us both a sense of whether working together feels like the right fit.
If we decide to proceed, a typical engagement runs for up to 12 sessions. Online sessions last for around 45 to 60 minutes, whilst in-person conversations tend to be 60 to 90 minutes. Sessions are spaced to give you time to put things into practice between conversations, rather than moving so quickly that nothing has a chance to settle.
Between sessions, I provide practical tools, reflective exercises, and continued support where it’s useful. The work doesn’t stop when the session ends.
Sessions are available online or in person. In-person sessions are based in Mallorca, and for those who want a more immersive experience, a dedicated leadership retreat in the Tramuntana Mountains is also available.
Who leadership coaching is for
Leadership takes many forms. I work with people who are:
- Running their own business and navigating the particular pressures that brings
- Moving into a senior leadership role for the first time
- Leading a team or organisation through significant change
- Feeling the effects of sustained pressure, and wanting to recalibrate before it becomes something more serious
- Experienced leaders who want a regular, confidential thinking space outside their organisation
If you’re carrying responsibility and want to carry it better, this work is probably relevant to you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is leadership coaching the same as executive coaching?
The two terms are often used interchangeably, and there’s significant overlap. Executive coaching tends to refer specifically to coaching for senior corporate leaders. Leadership coaching is a broader term that applies to anyone in a leadership role, regardless of sector or seniority. My work sits within this broader definition, though I do work with executives and senior leaders as part of that.
How is leadership coaching different from therapy or mentoring?
Therapy typically focuses on psychological health and past experience. Mentoring usually involves someone more experienced sharing knowledge and guidance in a specific field. Coaching is different from both: it’s a structured, forward-looking conversation that helps you think more clearly and make better decisions, without the coach telling you what to do or what to think.
How do online and in-person sessions differ?
The work itself is the same. Online sessions offer flexibility and convenience, and work well for most people. In-person sessions, particularly in Mallorca, are often based in nature and offer a different quality of presence and space, which some clients find valuable for deeper or more complex work.
What results can I expect?
That depends on what you bring to the engagement. Common outcomes include clearer thinking and decision-making, greater confidence in the leadership role, a stronger sense of direction, and the ability to manage pressure more sustainably. Most clients find that the effects extend beyond the immediate work context.
